Inconsistencies Reports
These reports highlight anomalies in your trends and other data.

Description: Lists employees who are missing employee ID numbers or email addresses. If you have an automated HR file this report is a good tool to use to ensure there are no issues with your HR data - ideally, the report should be empty. The Employee Without Number of Email report will extract any employee in Cimpl who does not have an associated employee # or an email address.
Benefit: Helps you easily flag employees whose records are missing crucial identifying information and maintain your data accuracy. Helps ensure all employees have the employee number unique identifier, as well as an email. If an employee does not have an email in Cimpl, the employee cannot log into Cimpl.
If you do find employees in this report, validate with your last loaded HR file to ensure the information is populated. If it is not, ask your HR people to add it to the file.
If it is populated in your HR file and not making its way into Cimpl, contact your Client Manager to report the issue.

Columns to note:

Description: Lists departments with missing manager information. If you have an automated HR file, this report is a good tool to use to ensure there are no issues with your HR data - ideally, the report should be empty. The report will extract all departments who do not have managers assigned.
Note: If your corporate hierarchy does not have Department Managers, this report will (and should) be empty.
Benefit: Helps you easily flag departments whose records might be missing crucial identifying information. This way, you can maintain better data accuracy.
If you do find departments in this report, validate with your last loaded HR file to ensure the "Department Manager" information is populated. If it is not, ask your HR people to add it to the file.
If it is populated in your HR file and not making its way into Cimpl, contact your Client Manager to report the issue.

Description: Lists employees who do not belong to a department. If you have an automated HR file, this report is a good tool to use to ensure there are no issues with your HR data - ideally, the report should be empty. The report will extract all employees who do not belong to a department.
Benefit: Helps you easily flag employees whose records are missing crucial identifying information. This way, you can maintain better data accuracy.
If you do find employees in this report, validate with your last loaded HR file to ensure the information is populated. If it is not, ask your HR people to add it to the file.

Description: Lists services unassigned to employees. A good tool to use to ensure there are no issues with your inventory. Ideally, all services or assets should be assigned to someone. If they are not assigned to a person in particular, then they are assigned to a department or a location (in the case of wireline services).
The report will output all services not assigned to an employee. Therefore, when analyzing this report, some of the results is valid (in cases where the services are in a warehouse, or assigned to a department or location).
Benefit: Helps you easily flag services whose records are missing crucial identifying information. You can maintain better data accuracy.
If you do find services which are not assigned to employees but should be, find out who the service should be assigned to, then go into the inventory, and assign the service to the correct employee.

Columns to note:

- Warehouse name

Description: Lists services shared across multiple employees. Ideally, all services or assets should be assigned to one person. If they are not assigned to a person in particular, then they are assigned to a department or a location (in the case of wireline services).
Sometimes services can be assigned to more than one employee: in the case of shared services.
The report will output all services assigned to more than one employee. Therefore, when analyzing this report, some of the results is valid (in cases where the services could be shared between two or more employees).
Benefit: Helps you identify services that might be shared across multiple employees and clean your inventory if needed. If you do find services which are assigned to more than one employee and should not be, find out who the service should be assigned to, then go into the inventory, and assign the service to the correct employee.

Description: Shows all the employees who have duplicate records in your database. If you have an automated HR file, this report is a good tool to use to ensure there are no issues with your HR data. The Duplicated Employees report will extract any employee in Cimpl having the same unique identifier (employee #) or email address. In the screen shot below, the employee is duplicated even though the employee # is different, email address is duplicated. Email addresses should be unique to each person.
Tip: Ideally, this report should be empty when you run it.
Benefit: Helps you easily flag duplicate records to improve data accuracy. Use the report to vet data, ensure all employees have the employee number unique identifier, as well as an email. If you do find employees in this report, validate with your last loaded HR file to ensure the information is populated correctly. If it is not, ask your HR people to correct in their files. If it is populated in your HR file and not making its way into Cimpl, contact your Client Manager to report the issue.

Description: Shows all the services that have duplicate records in your inventory based on the unique identifier combination of: [Provider] + [Service Type] + [Service ID].
Benefit: Helps you easily flag duplicate records to improve inventory accuracy.
